This short paper animation cartoon from 1953 was recently rediscovered in the archives of the Library of Congress. I am in love with it. Why don't they make things like this anymore? Instead, kids are watching Miley Cyrus with her butt cheeks hanging out of her jean shorts while she runs around nodding her head like yeah.

This was great. I am pretty sure, Howdy Doody and Pippi are distantly related. My favorite part- the cowboy legs becoming the fence/corral pickets. Mom
