CREATIVITY, COMICS, MOVIES, AND WANDS.

Today I am seeing 500 Days of Summer.

I am beyond pumped and it might turn into a double feature with a viewing of Harry Potter tonight. Only bummer about possibly seeing Harry Potter is that last summer I did a Harry Potter play for the Make-A-Wish foundation and they gave us our very own, hand-crafted wooden wands for the show. Mine is in California right now which means I cannot bring it to the theatre and wave it around during the movie.

Tres tragic.

It is going to be one helluva creative weekend, seeing as I am filming the webisode I wrote tomorrow and am then seeing 3 plays in one day on Sunday. I'm beyond thrilled to see the Norman Conquests trilogy on their final day of performances. It is supposed to be incredible.

Bring on the creativity. I love weekends like this.

I'm off to go buy animal print fabrics to use on set tomorrow.

And, the past few weeks have been the best ever because there have been not one, but two (!) BEK comics in each my New Yorkers the past few weeks. How great is that?!?!? Two BEK's a week?! I am in heaven.

They guy is on a roll and I freaking love him.

NOW I'VE REALLY DONE IT.

Another bangin' panini.

This one might be the ultimate of ultimates:

All ingredients fresh from the farmer's market...

1 Pink Lady Apple
1 Sweet Potato
Mix some light brown sugar and cinnamon together with a little bit of water and lemon juice and spread on apple and sweet potato prior to grilling.

Drizzle a slice of multi-grain bread with a smidglet of olive oil and grill for a few minutes.

Put it all on the bread with a few mixed greens and few small slices of parmesan.

Enjoy while your mouth freaks out from all the deliciousness.

Sometime I am going to get a picture of one of my creations up here, but they are just so good that I can't wait and I eat them, like, immediately.

Someday, my friends. Someday...

FREE FORM.

We really had an amazing time at the museum.
We free-danced with the art:

We slept with Andy Warhol:

And I learned that my friends would still be friends with me if I looked like this:

In drastic contrast to this past weekend, it is rainy and kind of chilly today. It almost feels like late fall or something, but I am kind of enjoying the drizzle and the lower temperatures. As we all know, I usually hate the rain, but today it isn't too bad!

I am dying to see this:

Could be perfect for a rainy evening...

BRIEF NOTES.

After an epic weekend of museums, picnics, concerts, and visiting a friend's 92 year old Grandpa, I am a little beat.

And I woke up this morning to a Blackberry screen that is apparently freaking out.

But what a wonderful weekend it was.

SO wonderful.

Pictures and news to follow after a few busy days are over.

2 thoughts in closing:

I am happy we landed on the moon and so very sad that Frank McCourt has passed away.

WHIP IT. WHIP IT GOOD.

PANINI P.S.

The panini I just made was off the chizain.

Fresh whole grain bread.

Freshly made mozzarella.

Cherry tomatoes.

Grilled portobello mushrooms.

Grilled eggplant.

Basil.

Balsamic and olive oil drizzled on top.

PERFECTION IN MY TUMMY.

GEEEEEEZ.

Today I moved a family from a six room apartment into a 7 room in the same building as part of my job as a "Professional Organizer."

I feel like I am about to keel over and die.

I unpacked over 100 boxes today and I am not joking.

I don't even need a cocktail because I already feel drunk from exhaustion.

Tomorrow: "organizing" day 2.

BARF.

I am totes making a panini and going to bed in T-1 hour.
