JESSICA LEA MAYFIELD.

I am very much digging the sounds of Jessica Lea Mayfield these days. I first figured out who she was after I heard her singing backup on Dan Auerbach's beyond beautiful song "When The Night Comes." I loved the sound of her voice and, after some searching on the album credits, came up with her name. Turns out her own album is pretty freaking good and she is on tour with none other than one of my standby faves, Justin Townes Earle. I can't wait to see them when they hit Webster Hall here in the city on October 19th.
